Meet Our Staff

Scheduling Coordinator

I am a Skagit Valley native and a Mount Vernon High School graduate. I attended Skagit Valley College and received my Washington State STARS Certificate in Early Childhood Education. I transitioned into dental assisting in 2004. I am a registered dental assistant and received my Certified Dental Assisting degree from Bellingham Technical College.

You will see me at the front desk as the Scheduling Coordinator.

I have two beautiful girls named Tianna and Ava. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family as well as scrapbooking, shopping, playing softball and traveling.

Orthodontic Assistant

Go Jayhawks! I was born in Lawrence, Kansas, home of the Kansas Jayhawks and the 2008 NCAA National Basketball Champions. If you couldn’t tell, I am a huge college basketball fan!

I was introduced to dentistry by my sister, Dr. Keri Halgren, who trained me to work as a dental assistant in 2001. I am a registered dental assistant and have worked as an orthodontic assistant since 2005. I primarily work with patients as a clinical assistant, but I also spend much of my time making retainers, orthodontic models, and your custom braces trays.

I have two wonderful dogs named Chevy and Rausch. They are American Pit Bull Terriers and they are very friendly. The keys to good Pit Bulls is a good owner and socializing the dogs. They are my “kids,” and I can usually be found on sunny days with them at a dog park in Bellingham, Anacortes or Sedro Woolley.

I enjoy watching and playing all types of sports. I played basketball in college - a Point Guard at Emporia State University, and recently started coaching the 5th and 6th grade girls at Immaculate Conception Regional School. I also love to travel and have visited Spain, Italy, Austria, France, Switzerland and Greece.

My parents still live in Kansas, but much of my family has been transplanted to Washington, so I get to spend a lot of quality time with my brother, sister and nieces.
